Deborah Ann Jenkins, MPA, MHRM
Deborah Ann Jenkins is Founder-Executive Director of Changing Lane’s Foundation, Inc (CLF), an Atlanta-based 501 © 3 Domestic Nonprofit serving the Breast Cancer Community. CLF is a grassroots organization that serves various programs that enhance and espouses community support Breast Cancer Awareness, Survival, and Recovery via a multitude of services and provisions.
A 3-year Breast Cancer Survivor, Deborah Ann has made it her endeavor to empower others. Her vision to found CLF came in the heat of her own battle to become cancer-free. Her unyielding commitment to fighting the disease inspired her to be more than a mere breast cancer survivor. Deborah Ann became empowered to encourage other patients and their families not to succumb to the debilitating disease.
Serving others is not uncommon to Deborah Ann, for over 30 years she has been given to volunteerism in numerous capacities. Her support and community involvement encompass helping to organize and establish programs; building relationships, aligning management teams, and working to expand community cohesiveness and development.
She offers a unique approach of diverse functionality in both private and nonprofit sectors to align both sectors in fighting for and supporting Breast Cancer Survivors through various community service projections, outreach organized by Changing Lane’s Foundation, Deborah Ann has an aptitude to translate nonprofit vision into tactical action. She blends strategic planning & development while harvesting both private and nonprofit support to appeal to the need of the community CLF serves.
Her standard of excellence is met with sound administration, practicality in delivering goods and services, upholding a standard of integrity, coupled with an honest distribution of the gifts and in-kind donations to CLF from our partners. Her effective communication to passionately advocate on behalf of all of the people she serves is unprecedented. She connects with professionals and clients respectfully, honestly, and personably.
Among her strengths is her ability to be attentive to the unique and specific needs of each customer, client, volunteer, and industry professional from Communications, Publishing, Operations, Finance, Training & Development, Community Resource Management, Healthcare Research, Terminal Patient Care Resources, Public speaking, in a Grass Roots capacity.
Healthcare Advocacy, Nonprofit Management, Human Resources, Educator and Community Outreach are among the ingenuity Deborah Ann possesses. It is Deborah Anna’s endeavor for Changing Lane’s Foundation to improve the quality of life of its clients and affiliates and change the entire Breast Cancer community one person at a time!
Deborah holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) emphasis on Non-Profit Management and a Master of Human Management Resources (MHRM) from Keller Graduate School of Management. Deborah is completing a P.hd in Philosophy in Leadership, focusing Diversity & Inclusion and a Lifetime member of International Honor Society.
